I enjoy creating visual displays of complex data or concepts. It springs from my roots as an illustrator.

Even though proprietary information has been removed this explanation of the growth of a cancerous tumor is still an excellent example of the many technical animations I have created over the years. I adhere to Edward Tufte’s philosophy on visual display of informational graphics. Visual should be used to enhance understanding, not to decorate data or, worse, obscure its meaning.
